1980 (sold in 1981). Box has a little bit of wear on bottom corners. Disco Barbie and Golden Nights Barbie are the exact same doll. Disco Barbie was sold exclusively in Europe and in Canada it was sold as Golden Nights Barbie. A "Golden Nights" sticker covers the words "Disco" on the box. The face paint is very close to other foreign exclusive Barbie of this era, like Jeans Barbie, Jogging Barbie and Sports star Barbie. A rare treat for collectors.
